Christine and granddaughter Karen:
- Jens Bodewalt Lampe was a Charter Member of ASCAP (American Society of Composer, Authors, and Publishers)
- Vision of Salome - JB wrote it for Isadora Duncan (Dance of the 7 Veils)
- Dell was a good friend of Paul Whiteman
- Paul Whiteman played the Edgewater Beach Hotel while Dell was at the Trianon
- Dell took one of Vincent Lopez's orchestras on the road and played in different places - (i.e.: Toronto,
Montreal)
- Dell studied in Germany under a pupil of Franz Liszt
- Jens Bodewalt Lampe and his father (another musician) came to the United States from Ribe, Denmark and initially spent
time in Minnesota.
- The 1920 four-generations photograph below shows grandfather Christian Lampe (grandfather to Dell) sporting
a medal received from the king of Denmark for his musical ability. The baby on the lap of Joseph (Dell) Lampe is
son Joseph Dell Lampe, Jr., eldest brother to Christine Lampe who is providing this bio-sketch along with her daughter Karen.
- Jens Bodewalt wife's name was Josephine, parents of Joseph Dell Lampe, the Trianon Orchestra Leader known as Dell Lampe
- After Dell left the Trianon Ballroom, he played two theatres in Chicago which were both owned by Balibar & Katz.
- After the theatres, Dell Lampe and His Orchestra did some broadcasting for the Jarman Shoe Hour and the Eversharp
Hour from the Mart in Chicago.
